Town and County of Nantucket - Annual Taxi License Waiting List Renewal Period Begins August 1, 2008

The next renewal period for the TAXI LICENSE WAITING LIST will begin on Friday, August 1, 2008 and end on Friday, September 12, 2008. All individuals whose names currently appear on the Taxi License Waiting List and who wish to remain on the Waiting List until September 30, 2009 may obtain a Renewal form on the TOWN OF NANTUCKET website (www.nantucket-ma.gov). To print the form, click on BUSINESSES and then on the link for “Taxi License Waiting List Renewal Form”. Renewal forms are also available at the Board of Selectmen’s Office, 16 Broad Street, Nantucket, MA 02554 or by calling 508.228.7255. Completed Renewal forms must be accompanied by a check or Money Order in the amount of $10.00, payable to Town of Nantucket, and must be received by the Selectmen’s Office no later than 4:00PM on Friday, September 12, 2008. Persons on the Waiting List who do not file a completed Renewal Form and $10.00 Renewal fee by Friday, September 12, 2008 will have their names removed from the Waiting List. No other notification of this Renewal period will be made.
