The following public hearings will take place at 6:00 PM in the Nantucket Town and County Building, 16 Broad Street, 2nd Floor Court Room, Nantucket, MA 02554 unless otherwise specified.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Please be advised that a Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 6:00PM to consider the application for an amended local Entertainment license for Great Harbor Yacht Club, Michael Mooney, Manager, for the premises located at 96 Washington Street, Nantucket, MA 02554. The applicant wishes to amend the club’s Entertainment license to include the new Clubhouse building (bar, restaurant, ballroom):
Sunday Hours – 9:00AM to 12:00AM (Midnight)
Weekdays/Saturday – 11:00AM to 12:00AM (Midnight)
There would be no change to the current outdoor hours of entertainment which are:
Sunday through Thursday – 11:00AM to 9:00PM
Friday and Saturday – 11:00AM to 10:00PM

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Please be advised that the Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing at 6:00PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 to establish an application fee of $50.00 for the newly required trench permit, as per Article 12 of the December 8, 2008 Special Town Meeting (STM). NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Please be advised that the Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 6:00PM to consider a Public Assembly Permit application for The Nantucket Dreamland Foundation, PO Box 989, Nantucket, MA 02554 to use its outdoor premises this summer for the staging of fundraisers for Nantucket Dreamland Foundation and the showing of movies between the hours of 6:00PM and 10:30PM on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from July 2, 2009 to September 13, 2009. Lawn seating in the movie area will accommodate approximately 200 people with space for a possible additional 100 people in the non-movie area of the lot. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: Please be advised that a Public Hearing will be held June 17, 2009 at 6:00 PM to hear the appeal of Three Martins Lane LLC of Historic District Commission (HDC) disapproval of Certificates of Appropriateness No. 53732, with regard to the property location of 3 Martins Lane, Nantucket, MA, Map 42.3.2, Parcel 133.
